New and Improved Dermatologic Health

September 22, 2021

Cooper Complete Dermatologic Health has been helping people and women achieve healthier skin, hair, and nails since 2010. Cooper Clinic dermatologists have reformulated the original formulation to add more benefits.

Jill Turner, President and CEO of Cooper Complete(r), Nutritional Supplements, says that they are constantly reviewing the literature and researching new supplement ingredients. “If we see beneficial research, we’ll consider reformulating our products.”

Dermatologic Health Capsule vs. Tablet

Dermatologic Health has changed from capsule to tablet form. This is the first thing you’ll notice.

Turner says, “We made the change because we could include more vitamins and minerals into a tablet than we could in a capsule.” The powder is not packed in a capsule as a tablet. Turner said that although Dermatologic Health’s form is slightly different, the recommended daily intake is three tablets.

Dermatologic Health Soluble Keratin (Cynatine HNS®)

Dermatologic Health’s ingredient list will show that the Cynatine HNS (r) formula contains soluble keratin.

Turner says, “We wanted this ingredient to be added because it can be very helpful from a hair standpoint.”

Clinical studies have shown that keratin can reduce hair loss by 30% in 90 days, increase hair strength and shine by 12 percent in 90 days. Keratin is not only good for your hair, but it can also help to improve the skin’s firmness and elasticity by increasing the protein structure and moisture retention.

Turner says that aging skin is negatively affected by a lack of moisture and hydration. Your skin will look younger and more hydrated if you do your best to improve its hydration.

Keratin’s antioxidant properties can reduce inflammation redness and increase skin brightness.

Biotin

Around 20 percent of people suffer from brittle fingernails. This condition is more common in women than it is in men. A small controlled study has shown that biotin may increase the thickness of brittle nail, decrease their tendency to break and improve their microscopic structure.

Biotin may help prevent brittle nails. Turner claims that they increased the amount of water-soluble vitamins from 3,000 to 6,000 mg in Dermatologic Health’s original Dermatologic Health. Biotin deficiency is the reason behind hair loss in different researches. Therefore, it is worth considering adding biotin to your diet.

Additional ingredients

Cooper Complete Dermatologic Hygiene now also contains biotin and keratin. But many other vital ingredients remain unchanged.

  • Vitamin A: Vitamin A, also known as Vitamin A, is an anti-aging nutrient. Vit A can improve your skin by fighting acne and facial oil. Vitamin A may be lacking in your skin if it is dry.
  • Horsetail Extract: Horsetail extract can be very effective in hair growth. It may also be helpful in brittle fingers.
  • Lutein: Lutein improves the long-term health of your skin by increasing elasticity, lipid content, and decreasing lipidoxidation (which can lead to skin damage). Lutein protects skin from ultraviolet light exposure and boosts the skin’s antioxidant defense systems.
  • Zeaxanthin: Combines with Lutein to protect skin from the harmful effects of blue light. Zeaxanthin, when combined with Lutein can improve skin hydration and skin elasticity by up to 60%.

Sunscreen is a great way to protect your skin from further sunburns.
